🎄 Dollywood's Light The Way 5K
There is nothing quite like Dollywood at Christmas. Experience a nighttime run in the nation’s most beautiful holiday park during the Smoky Mountain Christmas festival by registering for the 12th annual Light the Way 5K! This year’s event will take place on Friday, November 8 beginning at 11 p.m.
🏃♂️ Event Overview
- Facilitated by: Knoxville Track Club (ktc.org), providing chip timing and support.
- New Course: Re-certified for a streamlined route: starting location changed.
- Running Focused: Only runners wishing to race should register: walkers can sign-up for the 1-mile fun walk.
- Course Highlights: More than half off-park, including Dollywood's tram road and 6 million Christmas lights.
🏅 Participant Details
- Medals: All participants will receive a commemorative medal at the finish line.
- Awards: Top three overall finishers, and top three men and women finishers will receive awards.
- Presence Required: Awards will not be mailed: you must be present to receive your award.
- Participants Limit: Limited to 1,500 runners: online registration encouraged.

- Registration Fees: $45 until August 31: $50 from September 1 until November 8.
