💙 April is Child Abuse Prevention Month.

• Purpose: The Blue Ribbon Glow Run is to raise child abuse awareness.
• Focus: DADE FIRST-Family Connection aims to help families make a big difference year-round through small acts that help protect children.
• Goals: Strengthen families, promote traits that help protect families, and ultimately, prevent the abuse and neglect of children.

🌟 The Blue Ribbon Glow Run Details

• Event Type: FREE Event for people of all ages and families.
• Distance: This is a 1 Mile Run/Walk/Crawl.
• Location: The run will take place on the track around the Dade County High School football field.
• Schedule: GATES OPEN AT 8:00 PM and the 1 MILE RACE starts at 9:00 PM.

💚 Support Our Community

• Donations: Due to rising costs and the loss of some grant funding, we are asking for donations for t-shirts this year.
• Free Shirts: We will still have free shirts with your online registration.
• Support: If you would like to donate to the cost of the shirts for the community, please VENMO @DadeFirst-Family Connection. In the memo line just mention Blue Ribbon Glow Run or (BRGR).

🎽 Registration and Free Shirts

• Free Shirts: The first 500 people signed up by MARCH 14TH will receive a free Blue Ribbon Glow Run shirt the night of the event.
• Sign-Up: For those who missed online registrations, you can still sign up the night of the event and may be able to get leftover shirts.

🍧 Kona Ice Availability

• Purchase: Kona Ice will be available for purchase.
• Proceeds: Proceeds go to DADE FIRST-FAMILY CONNECTION.

🌈 Dress Code

• Dress Code: Come dressed to impress and Glow-in-the-Dark!

✅ Registration Confirmation

• Completion: Complete your registration until you see the "Congratulations" banner and your confirmation codes. You will need the printed confirmation to pick up your shirts.
• Check-in: In order to receive your shirt you must be at the registration table by 8:45 PM and must have your registration confirmation.
• Timing: Those who come after may not receive the size shirt they ordered.
• Presence: You have to be at the event in order to receive your shirt.
