Back Your Badge Marathon is a premier race event sponsored by the Town of Plainfield to show support for all Public Safety Agencies. Police, Fire, and Communications have all made a commitment to the health and wellness of their personnel. Join us in supporting Public Safety at the First Annual Back Your Badge Marathon.

- Date: 2025-09-20
- Location: Richard A. Carlucci Recreation & Aquatic Center, Plainfield, IN
- Distances: 5k, ½ Marathon, and Full Marathon
- Course: The course travels a mix of everything the town has to offer.
🌳 Course Highlights
- Route: Run historic US 40, Plainfield Parks Trail System.
- Landmarks: Run by or through your local police station, fire station, and communications center.
- Support: You pick the agency you support, and each mile you run or walk will be added to their running total.
- Challenge: The agency with the most total miles will earn bragging rights and the traveling trophy.
💰 Beneficiary Programs
All proceeds will directly benefit Public Safety Beneficent programs, Local Youth Assistance programs, and a Paramedic Scholarship program.
