🎄 Event Overview

Let's kick off the holiday season with our friends in the town of Howey-in-the-Hills as we run or walk the Reindeer Dash 5K on beautiful Lakeshore Blvd. The route takes runners on paved roads with a short run through Sarah Maude Mason Preserve for a little off road fun. 🏅 Participant Benefits

• Entry Package: All registered participants receive a chip timed bib, a race shirt, a finisher's medal and a post race snack and beverage.
• Registration Requirement: All runners and walkers on the course MUST BE REGISTERED. Anyone running without a bib is subjecting themselves to a misdemeanor and putting the race in jeopardy.
• Group Registration: If you want to pace a child, spouse or friend, you MUST register as well. BANDIT AND PACING RULES
• Donation Impact: Participant donations along with part of the proceeds from the race will go to the Town of Howey-in-the-Hills to help local non-profit organizations like the local food pantry.

📅 Event Details

• Date & Location: The event will take place on 2025-12-13 at 510 S Palm Avenue, Howey-in-the-Hills, FL.
• Packet Pick-up: Will be at Dash Sports (741 W Montrose Street, Clermont, FL 34711) from 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM on Friday December 12th & 7:00 AM - 8:15 AM race morning.
• Race Start: 8:30 AM. Participants will be asked to line up practicing social distancing based on pace.
• Virtual Packets: Packets will automatically be shipped within two weeks after the race.

🥇 Awards and Recognition

• Award Ceremony: Awards will be announced around 9:30 AM, including top 3 Male and Female overall, First Male and Female Masters, and top 3 Male and Female in 5 year age groups.
• Results Viewing: You may log in to our results page to view the results post-race as participants finish.
• Team Discounts: Family pricing is available when 4 or more members register under the same Team / Family name for a discount of $5 off each participant.
• Special Offers: The first 3 registrants under the same team name will pay full price, and after reaching the minimum of 4 members, the first three will receive a $5 refund.

🐶 Safety and Restrictions

• Pet Policy: For safety reasons, NO pets of any kind are allowed on the race course during the event, except for service dogs which must be pre-approved.
• Stroller Guidelines: For safety, strollers should line up at the back of the pack. Please note there’s a small dirt trail section.
• Prohibited Items: Bicycles, skateboards, or any other non-authorized motorized carts or vehicles are not allowed on the race course.
• Safety Measures: Please help us execute a safe race for everyone and leave your pets and wheels off the course.
