🦃 Join us for the 15th Annual Whitefish Turkey Trot!

Start off your Thanksgiving morning with a 5K run or walk around Whitefish, starting and ending outside of the O'Shaughnessy Center.

🕒 Start Time:

New for 2024: Due to the expected number of participants, we intend to have two waves in this year’s Turkey Trot:
Wave One: For those expecting to finish in under 25 minutes (starting at 8:30am).
Wave Two: For those expecting to finish in over 25 minutes (starting at 9:00am).

📍 Course:

New for 2024: The Whitefish Turkey Trot is moving to downtown Whitefish!
Course Details: A new 3.1 mile course will start and end outside of the O'Shaughnessy Center.
Route Highlights: Participants will follow the bike path through the tunnel under Baker Ave all the way to Oregon Ave/Lakeside Blvd alongside Whitefish Lake.
Course Management: The course will be marked and volunteer course marshals will help direct participants!

Support Local: In addition to the proceeds from this event, we encourage you to bring food donations to the food bank if you are able!
Needed Items: The North Valley Food Bank will be in need of turkeys, hams, fresh potatoes and yams, canned yams, canned corn, cranberry sauce, pie filling, dehydrated potatoes, stuffing, gravy mix, cornbread mix, crescent rolls, boxed pie crust, butter, olive oil, oats, flour, sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and/or salt and pepper.

11/24 UPDATE: Even with this year's location change and a little extra space, the 2024 Whitefish Turkey Trot is just about FULL! We’re happy to share that over 1,000 participants have registered to run—it’ll be the biggest trot yet! Please do not show up to run on race day if you have not registered. We will not have in person sign-ups. We apologize for the inconvenience! If you don’t nab one of the final spots, you can still get involved in the race-day fun—we are still recruiting volunteers and accepting donations for the North Valley Food Bank!
