🏁 12 HOURS OF ASAAYI ENDURANCE RACE

📍 CAMP ASAAYI – BOWL CANYON RECREATION AREA

📝 REGISTRATION

• Online Registration: Open through Thursday, June 5 at www.runsignup.com.
• Support: Major support throughout the race, including a variety of food and drinks.
• Participant Perks: All participants receive an event t-shirt, additional swag, and have access to camping.
• Awards: Overall and age-group awards are provided.

🍽️ FOOD & SUPPORT

• Included Items: Honey Stinger products, sweet and salty snacks, fresh fruit, and beverages like Coke and Gatorade.
• Drop Bags: You may have a drop bag at the checkpoint on each lap for food/drink items.
• Support Facilities: Access to medical support, live music, portable toilets, and your vehicle at checkpoints.
• Massage: Available for runners in the latter part of the race day.

🏃 COURSE

• Route: A 2.4 mile loop that includes predominantly singletrack and about ½-mile dirt road.
• Challenge: Scenic and challenging, with potential wildlife encounters.
• Laps: Runners will log as many laps/miles as possible during their respective time periods.
• Time Limit: Runners must begin a loop under their allotted time period.

🏕️ CAMPING

• Availability: Rustic camping available at Camp Asaayi on Friday and Saturday nights.
• Facilities: Portajohns on site, but no modern amenities like power or Wi-Fi.
• Conditions: Limited phone reception will be available.
• Note: Prepare for rustic camping experience.

📦 PACKET PICK-UP

• Registration: Available an hour before each race on race morning.
• Location: At the ramada, which is also the start/finish and aid station area.

🏆 AWARDS

• Awards: Overall and age-group awards will be given.

🗺️ DIRECTIONS

• Location: Camp Asaayi is in the Bowl Canyon Recreation Area in the Chuska Mountains.
• Access: Use the new paved road north of Navajo, NM, or the graded dirt road off NM Hwy 134 near Crystal, NM.
• From the East: Travel over Narbona Pass and head south on the graded dirt road to Camp Asaayi.
• From Other Directions: Specific directions from south and north provided in the full description.
