TROT returns to the pines of Mission Tejas November 15th, 2025!

Race Distances:

• 5k, 10k, 25k, 50k

Location: MISSION TEJAS STATE PARK
GRAPELAND, TEXAS

🔧 Park Updates

The park has been undergoing some important infrastructure upgrades the past two years which have prevented us from hosting our annual Mission Tejas event but we are excited to be back in the Fall of 2025. The park is still open for day use during construction, but you should always check state park websites before visiting a park to ensure no other closures or access requirements.

🏞️ Trail Description

The Mission Tejas trails are a great mix of straw pine-laced single track, winding downhills, and fun CCC-built rock stairs. When you are running towards the front of the park you will be climbing, and coming back, you will be descending, so prepare for some vert.

⛺ Camping and Registration

The event has typically hosted 5k, 10k, 25k, and 50k races over two 5k loops. Once the park is back open we will review the course options and open registration.

FREE TENT CAMPING is typically available both FRIDAY AND SATURDAY!
