Please join us at Payson Park in Portland for a fundraising walk/run around Back Cove to support Maine Needs!

🌟 About Maine Needs

Maine Needs is a community fueled donation center based in Portland. We are calling on local runners and walkers to join us in supporting the critical need for basic material goods for individuals and families throughout Maine.

🎉 Creative Participation

• Encouragement: Race participants are encouraged to highlight basic needs in whatever creative way they want to!
• Expression: This can be wearing your underwear and bra on the outside of your clothes, wearing funny socks, or whatever you can think of!
• Prizes: Guest judges will award prizes for the most creative expression.
• Food: There will also be food trucks to satisfy your hunger!

🎈 Support our Mission

Encourage those cheering you on to bring bottles of tick spray, sunblock, deodorant, and bars of soap for us to fill summer requests!

⚠️ Important Notes

• Timing: This race is NOT timed. All are welcome whether they walk or run!
• T-shirt Requirement: In order to receive a t-shirt, registration must be completed by May 1st, 2025.
• Virtual Participants: Virtual Walk participants will NOT receive a t-shirt.
• Raffle: Virtual Walk participants will be entered into a raffle for a chance to win a Maine Needs Sea Bag!
