🌍 Understanding Tuberculosis
- Curable Disease: Tuberculosis is a curable disease, yet it continues to be the top infectious disease killer.
- Active Cases: Over 10 million active cases exist worldwide.
- Avoidable Deaths: There are 1.25 million avoidable deaths each year due to TB.
- Our Goal: Our team has pledged to raise $4500 this year to support global tuberculosis care.
💸 How Your Support Helps
- Medical Aid: $4500 translates into 1500 chest x-rays or 450 lab tests to diagnose tuberculosis.
- Nutrition: Provides 1 month of food for over 100 tuberculosis patients.
- Treatment: Covers the cost of an entire 6 month TB treatment course for 9 children or adults.
- Get Involved: Support our mission by running (or jogging, wogging, or walking!) with us.
