🍻 Aberdeen Area Running Club Beer Mile 2025

The event will take place on September 17, 2025, at the Brown County Fairgrounds - Centennial Village, located at 400 24th Ave NW, Aberdeen, SD.

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

• Description: The Beer Mile is an event consisting of drinking a beer, running a 1/4 mile, and repeating that process 3 more times for a total of 4 beers and 1 mile of running.
• Age Requirement: You must be 21 to participate.
• ID: You must bring ID to the event.

👥 Participation Options

• Single: 1 person drinks all the beer and runs all the laps.
• Double: Find yourself a drinking buddy (and running buddy): 2 people split the running and beer drinking. Each person must drink 2 beers and run 2 laps (1/2 mile total per person).
• Quad: A good team-building exercise for your company, or softball team, or just you and three friends: 4 person team split the running and beer drinking. Each person must drink 1 beer and run 1/4 mile.

🏋️‍♂️ Suggested Training Plan

Get off the sofa, grab a beer, take the long way back to the sofa. Increase the distance to the fridge by one room every three days. Try walking through the dining room, laundry room, and office. As you advance, try going outside and walk around your entire property.
