Our 5k run is known as 'the WORLD'S EASIEST 5k', meaning you have to finish in the middle to win!

• Awards Categories:
  • Average Joe & Average Jane: Male and female middle finishers and they will receive an exclusive Average Joe Run Champion Jersey.
  • Overall Winners: Awards are handed out to the top 3 finishers for male and female.
  • Age Group Winners: Awards are handed out to the top 2 and Average Joe & Average Jane finishers of their age group.

• Race Guidelines:
  • We do ask at the beginning of the race that the runners start in the front and the walkers start towards the middle/back of the pack. This ensures participants will be grouped with those who participate at a similar pace and not run into each other.
  • We love dogs but they are not permitted at the AJR 5k events for the safety of our participants.
  • Strollers are permitted at our events.
• Event Amenities:
  • DONUTS, DONUTS, and more DONUTS are available for your enjoyment throughout the event.
  • We will provide a water station at the mid-point of the 5k course.
  • Coffee and water are available during the event.
  • Restrooms will be available at the start/finish line.

📅 Event Schedule

• Pre Race Packet Pickup: TBD
• Race Day - Saturday May 31, 2025:
  • 6:30am: Race Registration and Packet Pickup
  • 6:45am: Music and entertainment begin
  • 7:10am: Warm up hosted by fitness instructor
  • 7:25am: Announcements and National Anthem
  • 7:30am: Average Joe Run 5k Start - DONUTS AND COFFEE WAITING FOR YOU
  • 8:40am: Award Ceremony
