Our 5k run is known as 'the WORLD'S EASIEST 5k', meaning you have to finish in the middle to win!
- Awards Categories:
- Average Joe & Average Jane: Male and female middle finishers and they will receive an exclusive Average Joe Run Champion Jersey.
- Overall Winners: Awards are handed out to the top 3 finishers for male and female.
- Age Group Winners: Awards are handed out to the top 2 and Average Joe & Average Jane finishers of their age group.

- Starting Guidelines: We do ask at the beginning of the race that the runners start in the front and the walkers start towards the middle/back of the pack. This ensures participants will be grouped with those who participate at a similar pace and not run into each other.
- Pet Policy: We love dogs but they are not permitted at the AJR 5k events for the safety of our participants.
- Strollers: Strollers are permitted at our events.
- Refreshments: DONUTS, DONUTS, and more DONUTS are available for your enjoyment throughout the event.
- Water Stations: We will provide a water station at the mid-point of the 5k course.
- Event Amenities: Coffee and water are available during the event. Restrooms will be available at the start/finish line.

- 6:30am: Race Registration and Packet Pickup
- 7:00am: Music and entertainment begin
- 7:10am: Warm up hosted by fitness instructor
- 7:25am: Announcements and National Anthem
- 7:30am: Average Joe Run 5k Start – DONUTS AND COFFEE WAITING FOR YOU
- 8:40am: Award Ceremony
