Join us for a fun and festive day at the Grand Prairie Cinco De Mayo 5K! The event provides runners with a last chance to enjoy scenic Mike Lewis Park before the Texas summer heat kicks in. New runners and families are welcome, and non-runners can participate in our community walk or run.

📍 Packet Pickup Details

Pre-Packet Pickup:

• Location: Chicken N Pickle, 2965 State Hwy 161, Grand Prairie, TX 75052
• Day: May 1st, 2025
• Time: 3pm-6pm

Race Day Packet Pickup:

• Time: 7am-7:45am
• Location: Mike Lewis Park, 2410 N Carrier Pkwy, Grand Prairie, TX 75050

🙌 Volunteer Opportunities

We need your help! Here are some ways you can get involved:

• Packet Pickup: Assist with distributing race packets to participants.
• Course Monitor: Help redirect traffic and guide runners along the course.
• Cheer Squad: Bring energy with signs, music, and costumes to encourage participants!
• Course Clean Up: Help keep the area tidy by collecting discarded items.

🏆 Awards

Awards will be given for the following categories:

• 1st Place Male and Female: Recognizing the top finishers.
• Age Group Awards: Medals for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in age divisions.
• Age Divisions: 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+

📅 Refund/Cancellation Policy

We have a strict no refund policy: Lace Up Running events will proceed rain, shine, or snow.

• Weather Delays: Start time may be delayed due to extreme weather conditions.
• Cancellation: If conditions are unsafe, the event may be cancelled at the discretion of the Race Director.
• Virtual Race Info: Participants can still receive their packet, shirt, and medal if unable to participate.
