Come and join us for our 3rd Annual Grand Prairie Cinco De Mayo 5K! This event gives runners the last chance to get moving through scenic Mike Lewis Park before the Texas summer heat! A distance for everyone! New runners and families are welcome to join the 5K or 10K. Non runners are encouraged to try our community walk or run and you just might get hooked.

• DJ on Deck: Enjoy lively music throughout the event.
• Vendors on Deck: Explore a variety of local vendors.
• FREE Photos: Capture your experience with complimentary photos.

📦 Packet Pickup Information

Pre-Packet Pickup:

• Location: Chicken N Pickle (located in Epic Central) 2965 State Hwy 161, Grand Prairie, TX 75052
• Day: May 1st, 2025
• Time: 3pm-6pm

Race Day Packet Pickup:

• Time: 7am-7:45am
• Location: Mike Lewis Park (race site), 2410 N Carrier Pkwy, Grand Prairie, TX 75050

Join Our Team!

• Packet Pickup: Assist with distributing race packets.
• Course Monitor: Help maintain a safe course by redirecting traffic and guiding participants.
• Encouragement: Bring pom poms, horns, music, instruments, signs, etc. to cheer on runners. Bonus for creative costumes!

📝 Refund/Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy: All Lace Up Running events proceed rain or shine or snow or cold. For that reason, we have a strict no refund policy.

If conditions turn to lightening, ice or become unsafe, the event may be cancelled. Event changes and cancellations are at the discretion of the Race Director.

Our goal is to always produce a full event as scheduled and only modify these plans due to safety concerns, some of which can be caused by weather conditions.

Thank you for your understanding of these policies, and we appreciate your participation. If you are unable to participate in the event, or the event is canceled, you can still receive your packet, shirt, and medal and run the race on your own time on your own course.
