🏃♂️ Race Overview
This 5K Run/Walk is to raise money for the Alzheimer's Association. Team Lakewood, which is comprised of residents and staff of the Lakewood Retirement Community, is the top fundraiser in the history of Richmond's Walk to End Alzheimer's. In 2022, we ranked 33rd nationwide in the event, which had over 52,000 teams. We hope to raise over $50,000 this year to support this organization, which supports persons living with Alzheimer's, their caregivers, and research. You can help find a cure by participating in our first annual Lakewood/Alzheimer's 5K! 100% of the net profit from this race will be donated to the Alzheimer's Association.
