Dog Days Run Walk

🐾 Event Overview

Run or Walk the Dogs Days 5 mile, 5 K, or 2 mile event on Saturday, June 14, 2025! This family-friendly event supports Hub City Service Dogs, a nonprofit organization based in Hattiesburg, MS, dedicated to training service dogs for adults and children with medical disabilities.

🏃‍♂️ Race Details

• Start Time: 7:30 a.m.
• Location: Kamper Park (107 S 17th Avenue, Hattiesburg, MS)
• Course: Scenic Avenues of Hattiesburg with shaded paths
• Finish Line Festival: Lively celebrations await both racers and their pets.

🐶 Canine Companions

• Health Check: Ensure your dog is in good health and properly conditioned.
• Pup-Friendly Routes: The 2 mile and 5K routes accommodate dogs.
• Leash Requirements: All dogs must be leashed: no retractable leashes allowed.
• Safety First: Be mindful of your pet’s comfort and potential overheating.

🎉 Post-Race Fun

• Breakfast: Enjoy breakfast by Topher's.
• Run-by Dog Pageant: Judged by local celebrities along the race course.
• Finisher Medals: All racers receive custom finisher medals.
• T-Shirt: Limited edition event t-shirt for those registered before cutoff date.

• Finish Line Medals: Limited Edition custom finisher medal for all.
• Top Ten "Big Dogs": Prizes for the fastest ten Male and Female in 5 mile race.
• 5K & 2 Mile: Awards for the fastest finishers with/without dogs.

📅 Packet Pick Up

• Friday: 4:00-6:00pm at Keg and Barrel, 1315 Hardy Street.
• Saturday: 6:00-7:00am at Kamper Park near the start line.
