Goal: Red Coyoteβs Newbie 5K Training Program is designed to help you train for the Love Run on June 28th but can be used to train for any summer 5K.
Inclusivity: All abilities are welcome! Whether you're a runner/walker attempting your first 5K or you're shooting for a new PR, there's a place for you!
Community: Sharing the training journey with friends working to achieve a common goal makes every run more fun!
Experience: Red Coyote has trained over 3,000 Newbies to run their first 5K, providing the experience and knowledge to help you reach your goals!
ποΈ Program Details
Duration: 9-week program building toward a 5K/3.1 mile goal.
Workouts: Gentle workouts combining walking and running, ensuring your body has time to adapt.
Instruction: Guidance on hydration, nutrition, injury prevention, running form, and training principles.
Accountability: Virtual participants or those who miss a session can post workouts in the exclusive Facebook group.

Shirt: A technical Red Coyote training program shirt.

Support: Positive coaching and a fun group environment for motivation!
π° Registration and Cost
Price: Our 9-week program is $65, which includes a technical training shirt and entry into the Lucky Coyote on June 28th.
Shirt Order: Shirts will be ordered and printed once registration closes on May 12th.
Welcome Materials: The welcome email, training handbook, and Facebook link will be sent out in mid-April, prior to the start of training.
Location: Kickoff workout on Monday, April 28th at 6:00 PM at Red Coyote Classen Curve, OKC.
