ORCMA Spring Classic 5K & Fun Run

🌼 SPRING CLASSIC 5K & FUN RUN FUNDRAISER

Join the Oak Ridge Civic Music Association for our 2nd annual Spring Fun Run at A.K. Bissell Park! Move at your own pace—run, walk, or stroll—while enjoying uplifting springtime classical music along the way. Proceeds will support ORCMA's youth programs, including our Free Family Concert and Adolf Summer Strings Program. Come in your favorite costume and make it a festive celebration!

🏃‍♂️ Course Description

• Distance: Course will consist of three 1.1 mile loops (slightly over 3.2 miles) in and around Bissell Park.
• Surface: Crushed Limestone and paved pathway. Fun Run will be one loop.
• Parking: Available at the Civic Center next to the park or at the Public Library.
• Facilities: Restrooms inside the Civic Center and portables outside. Arrive early due to other events.

📝 Registration and Entry Fee

• 5K: $30 (early bird registration available through Jan 31st @ $25).
• Fun Run Mile: $15 (early bird registration available through Jan 31st @ $10).
• Policy: No bib transfers or refunds - no exceptions.

📅 Bib Pickup

Race morning, March 29, at Bissell Park, from 7:00 AM - 8:45 AM (until 8:15 AM for the Fun Run).

🎁 Giveaway/Swag

• Shirt: All participants will receive a custom race shirt (while supplies last).
• Swag Bag: Participants will also receive a swag bag.
• Finisher Medals: Medals for top finishers will be awarded.
• Inventory: Shirt order will be placed on March 15 - inventory on RunSignUp will show remaining sizes after March 15.

☕ Refreshments

Enjoy pre and post race snacks and drinks, including coffee from Calamity's Coffee, hot cocoa, and donuts from Donut Palace!

🏆 Awards

• Overall Prizes: 1st Place Male/Female Overall.
• Age Categories: Top 3 M/F in three age categories in the 5K (18-under, 19-39, 40+).
• Costume Awards: Awards for best costume in the 5K and Fun Run.
• Ceremony Time: Awards will be announced around 10:15 AM.

Results will be available here at RunSignUp after the final runners complete the course.
