Description: The Tunnel to Towers Climb Series was created to honor the heroic life and death of Stephen Siller, a New York City firefighter (FDNY) who lost his life on September 11, 2001 after strapping on his gear and running through the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel to the Twin Towers.
Purpose: Honor all of those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001 and support our first responders and military who make extraordinary sacrifices in the line of duty!

π How far is a Tunnel to Towers Climb?
Floors to Climb: A T2T climb attempts to have participants ascend the same number of floors as were in the Twin Towers, which were at 110 floors.
Requirements: This is not a requirement and many of our climbs only reach 60 - 70 floors.
Event Location: As this event is in Johnny Unitas Stadium, participants will need to complete five stair sections (laps) of the bleachers of the north concourse.
π What is the best time to register?
Registration Timing: The best time to register is always RIGHT NOW.
Price Increases: Registration is tied to a price tiering system where the price increases occur one week after the opening of registration, one month before the event, and on race day.
Registration Amounts: Adult - $35, Military & First Responder - $30, Teen - $10, Child - $5 (prices vary after certain dates).
πΆ What is the age limit?
Inclusivity: There is no age limit. All are welcome!
π Is there parking available?
Parking Location: There is parking at Johnny Unitas Stadium. Please use lot 4.
Regulations: Please follow all local parking regulations.
π½ Where can I pick up my packet (Race bib and T-shirts)?
Pickup Options: Check back closer to event time for more pickup options.
Day of Event: Packet pickup will also be available the morning of the event at the north concourse of Johnny Unitas Stadium.
π₯ Can someone else pick up my packet for me?
Proxy Pickup: Yes, they can. They must present a copy of your registration receipt.
Gratitude: And don't forget to thank them!
ποΈ Do I have to wear my bib number?
Display Requirement: Yes, please display your bib on the front of your outermost garment.
Course Enforcement: Those who run without a bib will be asked to leave the course and will not be allowed to finish.
β‘ I am a fast climber. Can I get a front line position?
Starting Position: Climbers predicting a faster pace may make their way to the front of their start wave and line up, based on space availability.
Advice: Hint: arrive early!
β±οΈ Will the event be timed?
Event Timing: Yes, the event will be timed.
Personal Tracking: You are also more than welcome to use a smartphone or watch to keep up with your own time.
π§ Will water be available?
Water Stations: Yes, there will be water available at the start/finish.
Preparation: Please hydrate before the event starts, or bring water with you if necessary.
π Will there be food at the event?
Food Sources: We are working with local food trucks and vendors to bring food on-site at the event.
π¦ What can you bring to the event?
Personal Belongings: You will be responsible for all of your personal belongings you bring to the event.
Security: Please leave anything that you do not want to climb with locked securely in your vehicle.
π« Can I run with a stroller, wheelchair, roller blades, bicycle, etc?
Prohibition: No. This is a stair climb and these items will not be permitted.
Item Safety: All items should be stored securely at the owner's risk.
π What should I wear if I am participating?
Attire: The general public should wear comfortable clothes and shoes.
Patriotic Spirit: We encourage everyone to wear patriotic colors and carry flags if you would like.
Recognition: Military and first responders, we encourage you to wear your gear/uniform, or anything that signifies what department or branch you serve.

Allocation: All funds raised from Tunnel to Towers Towson Climb will be donated to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation for many of their programs.
Mission: The mission of this Foundation is to honor the sacrifice of firefighter Stephen Siller who laid down his life to save others on September 11, 2001.
Impact: We honor our military and first responders who continue to make the supreme sacrifice of life and limb for our country.
Transparency: 93% of all money donated to the Foundation goes directly into their programs to help fallen first responders and veteran families.
