Jasper Main Street Shamrock Shake 2025

🍀 Event Overview

JMS' 2nd Annual Shamrock Shake, a 5K, 1 Mile Fun Run and Kids Leprechaun Dash in Historic Downtown Jasper.

• Fun for all ages: This event will be filled with luck, laughter and live music.
• Dress Up: Dress up in your best Shamrock and Leprechaun outfits for this afternoon of fun and enjoy live music on the Courthouse Square.
• Pet-Friendly: This is a pet-friendly event, so dress up your pup for a friendly competition.
• Beneficiary: Proceeds to benefit Jasper Main Street's Welcome Center project.

Location: Historic Downtown Jasper - 19th Street West between 2nd and 3rd Avenue

📝 Race Day Registration

• Opening Time: Monday, March 17th opens at 4:30 pm
• Registration Tent: Walker County Courthouse Square

💵 Registration Details

What is included in your Race Entry Fee: $25 each

• Race T-shirt: The first 50 to register will receive an event t-shirt. Register early to get the size you want. (Shirt sizes not guaranteed)
• Race Bib: Each participant receives a race bib.
• Glow/Bead Necklace: All participants will receive a glow/bead necklace.

5K and 1 Mile Fun Run Entry Fee Information

• Age Requirement: Participants under the age of 18 must have a parent/adult guardian signature to participate.
• Children Participation: Children under the age of 7 may participate at no charge and will NOT receive an event t-shirt or a race bib.

👶 Kids Leprechaun Dash

• Eligibility: For children age 6 and under.
• Course: Run from 2nd Avenue to 3rd Avenue and back (2 blocks).
• T-Shirts: Participants will not receive an event t-shirt.
• Registration: Registration is not required.

⏰ Race Day Agenda

• 4:30 PM: Registration Opens at Event Tent on the Courthouse Square in Downtown Jasper.
• 5:50 PM: 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run Registration Closes.
• 6:00 PM: Welcome.
• 6:15 PM: 5K & 1 Mile races Start.

🎤 Live Music and Entertainment

• 5:00 – 7:00 PM: Live Music on the Square.
• 7:00 PM: Awards ceremony for 5K, 1 Mile Fun Run, Kids Leprechaun Dash and various categories.
• Photobooth: A Digital Photobooth will be available throughout the event.

🚗 Parking Information

Free Parking: Available throughout Downtown Jasper. Public Parking Lots are available on 2nd Avenue behind Pinnacle Bank, at 2nd Avenue and 20th Street, on 4th Avenue behind Young Jewelers, and on 4th Avenue across from City Hall Annex.

🐾 Pet Policy

Pets are encouraged! Please have your pet on a leash and dressed for the occasion.

💧 Water Stops

Water stop locations will be at the start line/finish line, and halfway mark on the 5K, on 8th Avenue in the parking lot across from the Bankhead House & Heritage Center.

👶 Strollers at the Race

If you are participating with a stroller and/or children, we ask that you keep your children with you at all times and that you start from the back of the starting line.

❌ Cancellation Statement

Your entry fee is non-refundable. This event will occur warm or cold. A rainy forecast will be evaluated by event organizers. We reserve the right to cancel in extreme circumstances. In that event, there will be no refunds, rather, your entry fee will be used as a donation to Jasper Main Street’s Town Creek Development Project.

🔄 Transfer of Registration

Your entry fee is non-refundable. Participants can transfer their online registration (Online Only) until March 1, 2025. After March 1, 2025, registrations are non-transferable. Click Here to learn more about how to transfer your registration.

📝 Waiver Forms

All 5K & 1 Mile Participants must sign a Waiver form in order to race. Waiver is included in the online registration process. For walk-up registration, Waivers will need to be signed at the registration table.
