PIONEER MARATHON

🏃‍♂️ Overview

The Pioneer Marathon offers 5K, 10K, Half Marathon, and Marathon distances, all starting and finishing at the Colby Community College Horse Barn (2002 Co Rd 23, Colby, KS 67701) on Saturday, April 26th, with the race kicking off at 10:00 AM.

Join us for a day of community, challenge, and fun — all while supporting a great cause. 100% of event profits go directly toward Colby Community College Athletic Scholarships, helping student-athletes achieve their academic and athletic goals.

• Arrival Time: Please arrive 45 min. before your start time
• Bib Pickup: 9-10 AM
• Race Brief: 9:50 AM
• Race Start: 10 AM (Full Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K, 5K)

• 5K Awards: 10:45 AM
• 10K Awards: 11:15 AM
• Half Marathon Awards: 12:30 PM
• Full Marathon Awards: 2:30 PM
• Cutoff Time: 4 PM

🚗 Parking

Participants will be able to park at the Colby Community College Horse Barn located at 2002 Co Rd 23, Colby, KS 67701.

🏞️ Course

The course features dirt/gravel roads in the wide open plains of Kansas. Each distance follows an out n' back course starting and finishing at the Colby Community College Horse Barn.

Pre-race emails are sent out 1-2 days prior to race day. We do not offer full refunds or race credits. Please note, the Pioneer Marathon does not ship out race bottles or medals if a runner does not show up for the race.
