🌄 Course Details

• Location: Almost entirely within State Forest State Park
• Scenery: Runs between the Never Summer Mountains and the Medicine Bow Mountains
• Distance: First 20 miles showcase peaks and alpine lakes
• Route: Continues through Cameron Pass into the southern Medicine Bow Mountains

🏞️ Terrain and Experience

• Variety: Cross country, jeep and logging roads, alpine trails
• Unique Elements: Rough and overgrown sections, meadows, and streams
• Wildlife: Expect to see moose, elk, and possibly bighorn sheep
• Challenge: True mountain wilderness experience in challenging terrain

⛰️ Elevation and Conditions

• Elevation: Much of the race between 10,000ft and 12,000ft
• Cut-off Time: 24 hours for the 100km
• Preparation: Adequate training and mental fortitude required
• Expectations: Come prepared for a wild and beautiful setting
