Turtle Trot 10K & 5K

🏃‍♀️ Race Overview

• New Location: Due to storm damage to the boardwalks, the Turtle Trot 10k & 5k will now be held at SunWest Park in Hudson.
• Course Details: The course takes you on a paved hiking path around old salt mines. If you've never been to SunWest Park, you're in for a treat!
• Participation: Participants may run or walk any distance.

📅 Event Schedule

• Packet Pickup: Saturday morning from 6:45 am to 7:45 am.
• Pre-Race Meeting: A pre-race meeting for both events will begin at 7:50 am.

🏅 Awards & Prizes

• Finisher Awards: Every registered participant will receive a finisher award.
• Overall Awards: The top male and female in the timed 10K and 5K will receive an overall award.
• T-Shirts: Note: T-Shirts are an "add-on" during registration so the proceeds from registration can be donated to PAIR.

• Proceeds: Proceeds of this event will go to the Pasco County Parks, Recreation and Natural Resources Adaptive and Inclusive Programming (PAIR).
• Mission: The PAIR program's mission is to enrich the lives of our diverse community by offering inclusive and adaptive programming within our county parks and recreation system ensuring individuals of all abilities have access to recreational opportunities, fostering a sense of belonging, empowerment, and well-being for everyone.

• In Memory Of: The 4th Annual Turtle Trot is in loving memory of Angela Fagan, Program Manager - Community and Outreach at Pasco County Parks Recreation and Natural Resources Department, whose life was cut short due to complications of the COVID-19 virus.
