🏃♂️ Race Purpose
- Event: The Wharton Council and the Wharton Roadrunners, in benefit of The Community Grocer, are proud to present the 13th Annual Wharton 5K, the University of Pennsylvania’s largest 5K event.
- Goal: The main goal of the Wharton 5K is to bring together students, staff, and community members to give back to the Philadelphia community through a great cause: The Community Grocer focuses on achieving food sovereignty, sustainable economic development, and health justice for all.

- Venue: Shoemaker Green, 33rd Street, between the Palestra and Franklin Field.
🏆 Awards
- Categorizations: Top 1-3 overall (male & female), and special awards for the fastest team and most spirited team.
- Team Entry: In addition, all teams (at least 5 participants) will be entered into a raffle for various gift cards and prizes.
- Fastest Team: Fastest team is the lowest aggregate time of a team's 5 fastest runners (male or female).
🎁 Amenities
- T-shirt: Free t-shirt (for the first 550 entrants).
- Festival: Post-race festival, snacks, giveaways, and more!
