Join the Lauren’s Kids foundation and thousands of walkers across the state for the 2025 Walk in My Shoes 1,500-mile trek across Florida. April is National Sexual Assault Awareness Month and National Child Abuse Prevention Month — every step counts in the fight to prevent child sexual abuse and help survivors heal.

- Start location: Child Advocacy Center, 500 E University Ave., STE. A, Gainesville, FL 32601
- Registration Begins: 11:00 AM
- Walk Start: 12:00 PM
🚶‍♀️ Walk Information
- Distance: Join us for a 6-mile walk to advocate for child safety.
- Water Stop: There will be a water stop at the 3-mile mark, sponsored by the Gainesville Woman’s Club.
- Choice: At the water break, walkers can choose to stop or continue walking.
- Ride Back: An UBER code will be provided to walkers to cover the cost of a ride back to the starting location.
