• Partnering Organization: The Cowlitz Valley Runners are partnering with a patriotic non-profit organization, Helping Every Veteran In Need (HEVIN), in this family friendly Independence Day event.
• Support Veterans: You can help veterans through a donation to HEVIN when you register for the Go Fourth Mile. Learn more about HEVIN at www.hevin4vets.com.

🏃‍♂️ Race Details

• Course Route: A one mile race (run or walk) on the route of the Longview, Washington Go 4th Festival's July 4th parade, starting at the historic Monticello Hotel and finishing near Martin's Dock at beautiful Lake Sacajawea Park.
• Family Friendly: This is a fun event for the whole family, and hundreds of fans will cheer the runners and walkers on this fast, flat, scenic course.
• Community Focus: The Cowlitz Valley Runners will apply proceeds to scholarships for high school seniors pursuing higher education, in keeping with the community and non-profit volunteer philosophy of the Go 4th Festival.
• Sponsors: Hosted by Cowlitz Valley Runners in partnership with HEVIN and sponsored by various local businesses like Monticello Coffee House, Child & Adolescent Clinic, and more.

🏅 Awards & Prizes

• Medals: Will be awarded to the top male and female finishers.
• Ribbons: Awarded to the second and third place male and female finishers, and to the first male and female finishers over 50.
• Door Prizes: Several random door prizes will be available, and walkers can win too!
• Participation: Be sure to join in the fun and see if you can take home an award!

👕 Shirt Order Information

• Running Singlets: Order your Go 4th Mile 2024 shirts online by June 21st.
• Pickup Location: Shirts can be picked up at packet pickup at the Monticello Hotel lobby on race day from 8:30 - 9:30 AM.
• Shirt Details: The shirts will be tank top T-shirts that participants can wear with pride.
• Don't Miss Out: Make sure to order by the deadline to ensure you get your shirt!
