🎉 Event Overview
The annual 5K run/1 mile walk benefits Stop the Suffering, a 501 (c)(3) based in Columbus, Ohio that saves animals from shelters and other situations in which their lives might be at risk.
- Annual Impact: STS adopts out about 500 dogs a year.
- Transport Services: Transports around 4,000 cats and dogs from rural shelters and puppy mills to rescue organizations.
- Financial Support: STS sponsors the vet care, boarding expenses, and other costs when needed to help save an animal's life.
- Community Programs: STS has a program that helps with many local municipalities' spay and neuter programs to control the pet population.
