17th Annual Canine Classic at Paws Up

🐾 About the Canine Classic

• Event Type: The Canine Classic is a trail hike/run for you and your dog(s) through the scenic trails at Paws Up!
• Race Options: Participants can choose from Half-Marathon, 5-Mile, 2-Mile races or an untimed hike.
• Dog Policy: Dogs are welcome and encouraged to participate, and can do so off-leash on these trap-free lands.
• Trail Conditions: The run takes you on mostly designated trails and some dirt roads. Runners can expect uneven trails especially through pasture area.

🍽️ Post-Race Festivities

• Lunch: After the race enjoy a gourmet picnic lunch prepared by the amazing team at Paws Up.
• Inclusions: All race entries include one lunch coupon, a swag bag, and the opportunity to win some great prizes!
• Additional Coupons: Additional lunch coupons can be purchased the day of the race for $10.
• Beneficiary: Event proceeds benefit Working Dogs for Conservation.

🥤 Event Guidelines

• Cupless Race: The event is cupless. There will be four aid stations on the 13-mile course.

⏰ Tentative Race Schedule

• 7:45 am: Half-Marathon check in
• 8:00 am: Half-Marathon starts
• 8:10 am: Half marathon start with dogs
• 9:00 am: 5-Mile check in
• 9:15 am: 5-Mile starts
• 9:25 am: 5-Mile with dogs
• 10:30 am: 2-Mile starts
• 8:30 am-12:30 pm: Course open to any untimed hike participants
