🌟 About Girls on the Run
Girls on the Run is a physical-activity based, positive youth development program for girls in 3rd through 8th grades that provides social-emotional learning through a curriculum that creatively integrates running. St. Louis participants come from 23 counties across eastern Missouri and western Illinois and their season culminates in a 5k experience.
💖 Accessibility and Scholarships
- Accessibility: We strive to make the program accessible for all girls.
- Scholarships: Offering scholarships to participants whose families may not be able to cover the full cost of registration.
- Financial Support: In a typical year, more than 90% of girls receive full or partial scholarships totaling nearly $500,000.
