39th Annual Strawberry Stride

🍓 Race Overview

• Event: The 39th Annual Strawberry Stride is a 5K race that supports athletes at Portland High School.
• Location: The event starts and ends at Portland High School.
• Course: The race is relatively flat with only a slight elevation during the first 1/4 mile and on the last part of the race.
• Race Time: 8am for the 5K and 1 mile races: Kids Fun Run starts at 8:45am.

🎽 Age Categories

• 5K Race: Categories start at 10 years of age and increase in 5 year increments.
• 1 Mile Race: Age groups are middle school, high school, and adult.
• Fun Runs: Available for Pre-K/K through 5th grade.
• Community Event: The races are part of The Strawberry Festival, culminating in a parade later in the afternoon.

📝 Registration Details

• Online Registration: Ends on May 9, 2025, at 11:59 a.m.
• Shirt Guarantee: Registration must be completed by April 18, 2025, to guarantee an event t-shirt.

🗓️ Event Schedule

• Parking: Participants should park on the west side of PHS and enter the building on the west side.
• Pre-registration Pick-up: Starting at 7:30 a.m. in the gym lobby.
• Starting Line: Located on the east side of the building.
• T-shirt Guarantee: Register by midnight, Friday, April 18, 2025, to ensure receipt of an event t-shirt.
