• Event: Join the Tennessee Aquarium for a 5K run to kick off our inaugural Laurel Dace Day and help us win the Race to Save the Laurel Dace!

🎉 Laurel Dace Day Festivities

• Conservation Celebration: Laurel Dace Day raises awareness of a critically endangered fish found only on nearby Walden's Ridge.
• 5K Registration: Register for the 8 a.m. ET 5K and receive a free custom t-shirt for participating.
• Family Friendly: Bring the whole family to the free half-mile fun run starting at 9 a.m. ET.
• Participation: Runners and non-runners are welcome to join the Laurel Dace Day festivities!

🏞️ Post-Race Activities

• Location: After enjoying a mostly flat run or walk, meet us at the finish line in the Spring City Nature Park next to the beautiful Piney River.
• Vendors: The festivities will feature a local farmers market and artisan vendors.
• Entertainment: There will be music, food and drink options, and fun activities with the Tennessee Aquarium's conservation scientists and educators.
• And More: Enjoy many more activities to celebrate the day!
