Babcock Ranch is excited to announce our inaugural Love on the Run 5K Run/Walk. The Love on the Run 5K Run/Walk at Babcock Ranch is a perfect way to celebrate Valentine’s Day, combining a scenic course with a fun, festive atmosphere.

👕 Shirt Cutoff Date

The shirt cutoff date is February 6, 2025. Shirts ARE NOT guaranteed after this date.

📦 Packet Pickup Information

• Early Packet Pickup: Thursday, February 13th, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Friday, February 14, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
• Pickup Location: Babcock Ranch Lifestyle Office, 42911 Lake Babcock Drive, Punta Gorda, FL 33982.
• Race Day Pickup: 6:45 a.m. to 7:45 a.m. at Bluebird Park.
• Race Day Registration Cost: $40.00.

🚗 Race Day Details

• Race Day Parking: Free ample parking is available near the starting area.
• Race Start Time: 8:00 a.m.

🍎 Post-Race Information

Post-race snacks and awards will be provided. Bathrooms and Water Stations will be located at the start and finish areas, and the water stop will also be at the halfway mark.

• Overall Awards: 1st Place Overall Awards: Male & Female.
• Masters Awards: 1st Place Masters, Grand Masters, Senior Grand Masters: Male & Female.
• Age Group Awards: In-person awards to the top three M/F in the following age groups: 9 and Under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75+.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

• Is this a timed race? Yes, the 5K is chip-timed by Beach Bum Timing.
• Are dogs allowed on the course? You may run with your dog, but you assume ALL responsibility for your dog. Your pet must be leashed at all times and up to date on vaccinations.
• Are strollers allowed on the course? Yes. Participants with strollers must start at the back of the race.
• Is the course good for spectators? Yes.
