Put on your cape and become a hero for families in need at the Compassion in Action 5k! This exciting event encourages participants to dress up as their favorite superheroes while running or walking through the scenic UCF campus. Join us for a fun-filled day that combines fitness, community spirit, and support for a great cause!

💖 Support the Cause

All proceeds from the Compassion in Action 5k will benefit the Abilities Workshop and their "LoveABLE" program, which provides essential support to special needs families facing crises. Your participation will directly contribute to making a positive impact in our community.

• Costumes: Participants are encouraged to wear superhero costumes to promote a sense of fun and camaraderie.
• Activities: Enjoy family-friendly activities, entertainment, and opportunities to connect with other community members.
• Inclusions: All participants receive a race t-shirt and a finisher's medal.

🗓️ Day of Event Schedule

• 7:00 a.m.: Registration & Pre-Registration Opens
• 8:00 a.m.: 5K Race Start

👕 Tee Shirts

Shirts are guaranteed for all pre-registered participants before November 25th. Once a shirt is sold out you will see sold out. Shirts are not guaranteed on race day.

📦 Registration & Packet Pick-Up

• Early Packet Pickup: February 12, 2025 at PGA Tour Superstore, 375 E Altamonte Dr. Altamonte Springs FL 32701 from 2:00 PM-6:00 PM.
• Day of Packet Pickup: February 16th, 2025 at University of Central Florida, 4000 Central Florida Blvd, Orlando, FL 32816 from 7:00 AM.

General Registrations: Top 3 Males and Top 3 Females and top 3 in the following age groups: include 6 & under, 7-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80-89, 90+

Special Athletes: Top 3 Males and Top 3 Females

Timing & Scoring: Race will be timed and scored with a disposable chip provided, which will be attached to the back of the bib.

Course Length: The 5K is 3.1 miles.

Results: Official results are posted for the top runners in each category.

T-shirt Eligibility: Only pre-registered runners are guaranteed a free race t-shirt.

Free parking is available at Garage H, University of Central Florida, Orlando, FL 32816.
