February Freeze 5K - Pigeon Forge

🎉 Day of Registration

• Time: Begins at 4:00 PM on Saturday

🏃 Race Overview

• Event: The American Cancer Society proudly presents the 7th annual February Freeze 5K Timed Run and 1 Mile Walk on the Holiday Lighted River Walk in Pigeon Forge.
• Location: The race begins at the Island in Pigeon Forge, TN and travels along the river walk which will still be lighted by the holiday Winterfest lights.
• Beneficiary: Facilitated by the Sevier County Relay for Life Teams, all proceeds of the February Freeze 5K Run/Walk go to the American Cancer Society.

📅 Where and When

• Date & Time: The February Freeze 5K Run/Walk begins at 6:00 PM on Saturday, February 1 in Pigeon Forge, TN with registration at 4:00 PM.

💰 Cost and Cause

• Registration Fees: $25 for runners, $20 for walkers and students K-12. Race day registration is $5 more for each.
• Purpose: All money raised goes to the Sevier County Relay for Life which benefits the American Cancer Society.

📝 Registration

• Online: Register for the race online at runsignup.com.
• Mail: Mail in a form to register.
• Race Day: Runners/Walkers can register the day of the race from 4:30 - 5:30 at the Race Registration Tent.

📊 Results

• Results Publication: Race results will be available via the Terra Running Company.

👕 T-Shirts

• Eligibility: Runners and Walkers registering prior to January 20 will receive the official February Freeze 5K t-shirt.
• Supplies: Any registration after January 20 will receive a t-shirt while supplies last.
• Pickup: T-shirts & bibs available for pick up on Friday, location to be provided.

🏆 Awards

• Winners: The Top 3 male and female participants will receive overall awards.
• Age Classification: The overall winners will not be eligible for the classification awards given to age groups in male and female for top 3.

🍽️ Refreshments

• Post-Race: Refreshments will be available after the race.

🚫 Race Day Etiquette

• Prohibited Items: Due to our insurance policy, no rollerblades or bicycles will be allowed in the race.

🔄 Refund Policy

• No Refunds: February Freeze has a NO REFUND policy. Insurance is available during the registration of each event.
• Non-transferable: Race entries are non-transferable between individuals.

⚠️ Event Cancellation / Modification Policy

• Safety First: February Freeze in concert with local officials will make decisions based on safety first.
• Course Changes: Courses and/or race segments will be altered as agreed to between February Freeze and local officials.
• Financial Risks: Each registered participant needs to accept the risk of his or her entry fee. There will be NO REFUNDS or free entries to future races.

👕 Event Shirts

• Availability: Event shirts are NOT guaranteed to participants registering within 1 week of each event.
• Registration Deadline: Please register prior to 1 week prior to guarantee your race shirt size.
