👦 What Will the Kiddos Do?
The kiddos will do the Fast Rabbits Winter Season conditioning workout, which will consist of about 10 minutes of dynamic stretching/drills, 20 minutes of running, 10 minutes of strength training (body weight exercises), and 10 minutes of static stretching -- with plenty of water breaks in between!
Adults are welcome to stay with their kiddos if their kiddos would feel more comfortable with them in that capacity.
👩🏫 What Will the Adults Do?
The adults will split into their pace groups (8:00min/mile to 15:00min/mile), and go for a nice 5-mile training run along the Heritage Rail-to-Trail path.
👶 How Old Should My Kiddo Be?
That’s a good question! We don’t like to put strict age limits with Fast Rabbits kiddos, but we generally say that kids should probably be in at least 1st or 2nd grade, or have some previous experience with running.
So, if your youngin is in kindergarten, but has run a bunch of 5ks and you can’t seem to get them to sit still for a minute, they’ll probably be just fine.
📋 I’ve Never Done MIT Before, Is There Anything I Should Know?
