🏃♂️ Mackinac Island Eight Mile Run & Walk
Join us September 6, 2025, at 9:30 am for the 54th running of one of the oldest and most scenic races in Michigan. Early Fall is the best time of year to run or walk the perimeter of Mackinac Island, where you will enjoy sparkling water, spectacular views and historic sites!
🚢 Unique Island Experience
- Access: The Island can only be reached by ferry.
- No Motor Vehicles: No motorized vehicles are allowed.
- Travel Style: Experience travel by foot, bicycle, carriage, or horse.
- Participants: Up to 1,600 runners and walkers are expected.
🏅 Qualifying Event
This race is the second qualifying event in the Mackinac Island Trio. You must have completed either the Fort2Fort 5 Mile or Lilac Festival 10k to qualify as the first event.
