Run High Bridge 5k

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

• Organizer: The Cumberland Education Foundation is proud to present the annual Run High Bridge 5k.
• Location: The event will start at the Camp Paradise entrance of the High Bridge Trail State Park and offers an out and back run across the legendary High Bridge.
• Purpose: Proceeds will go to Scholarships for Cumberland County School graduates and grants to teachers.

💲 Registration Fees

• Price: $25 THROUGH February 12th.
• Increased Fees: $30 (February 13th - March 6th).
• Last Minute: $35 Packet Pickup (Mar. 7th) & Race Day (Mar. 8th).
• Family & Friends Special Pricing: Register 4 or more together to save $2.00 per entry through Mar. 1st.

📅 Race Day Details

• Location: Camp Paradise Road/Aspen Hill Road (Rt. 601), Rice, VA 23966.
• Note: No paper registration will be available for this event.
• Event T-shirt: Guaranteed t-shirt for registered participants through Feb. 23rd: extras available on a first-come basis.
• Parking: $5.00 at race site.

🏅 Awards and Timing

• Awards: Top three overall male and female finishers, top Masters (40+ yrs), plus age categories.
• Categories: Awards for 12 & under, 13 – 19, 20 – 29, 30 – 39, 40 – 49, 50 - 59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+.
• Timing: Scoring will be provided by Riverside Runners.
• Note: The High Bridge State Park is still open to the public.

🕒 Packet Pickup

• Date & Time: Friday, March 7th from 3:00 – 7:00pm at the Southside Virginia Family YMCA, 580 Commerce Road, Farmville, VA 23901.
• Race Day Pickup: Saturday, March 8th from 8:00am - 8:30am at the race location.
• Stroller & Pet Policy: Due to path width, strollers and/or pets cannot be accommodated.
• Final Note: Please register early to ensure your event t-shirt and pre-race information.
