3rd Annual Healthy Buffalo 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

Join us for our 3rd Annual 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run at Beaver Island State Park. What better way to put an exclamation point on the summer than an awesome run by the water, capped off with a great post-race, summer-ending party. We'll have an amazing BBQ provided courtesy of Kevin's Catering, premium pizza provided by Mustachio's Pizzeria, ice cream for everyone, games and activities for the kids, and much more. Space is extremely limited and will fill up fast!

📍 Event Details

• What: 5K Race & Kid's 1 Mile Fun Run
• Where: Beaver Island State Park (2136 West Oakfield Rd, Grand Island, NY 14072)
• When: Friday, August 22, 2025. The Kid's 1 Mile Fun Run starts at 6:00 pm and the 5K at 6:30 pm
• Who: Kid's 1 Mile Fun Run for ages 4-13: 5K Race for all ages

💰 Registration Information

• 5K Race Registration: Early Registration $25 / Regular Registration $30
• 1 Mile Kid's Fun Run: Early Registration $25 / Regular Registration $30

🏆 Prizes and Awards

• Prize Money: $500 for the top male and female 5K winner.
• Certificates: $50 in Dick's Bonus Certificates for the top boy and girl winner in the 1 Mile Run.
• Course: Certified 5K course with chip timing for the 5K race.
• Prizes: Awesome prizes for the top male and female runners in the kids and adult race TBD.

🎉 Post-Race Festivities

• Awards: Awards for the top male and female runner and the first place finisher in 5-year age groups.
• Participant Gear: Healthy Buffalo running singlet or performance tee included for all participants.
• Food and Activities: Post-race party with kids activities, food provided by Kevin's Catering, Mustachio's Pizzeria, ice cream, and more!
• Water Bottles: Dick's Sporting Goods water bottles for the first 200 registered!
