Season Opener: The Mack Cycle Tri-Miami Triathlon is a GREAT SEASON OPENER for triathletes from across the world!
Location: The race consists of a Sprint (1/3 Olympic Distance), International (2/3 Olympic Distance), and Olympic Distance Triathlon held annually on the beautiful island of Key Biscayne.
Training Ground: Key Biscayne is the main training ground for all of Miamiβs endurance athletes.
Swim Conditions: The swim is in a calm area of the Atlantic Ocean.
π΄ Bike Course
Route: The bike leaves Crandon Park and heads to the William Powell Bridge with a steady 4% grade up to 76 feet high.
Scenic Views: Riders enjoy a spectacular view of the City of Miami Skyline!
Course Layout: Sprint does 1 lap, International 2 laps, and Olympic 3 laps.
Climbing Challenge: Riders must u-turn after getting to the other side of the bridge and climb that monster again!
π Run Course
Trail Experience: The run goes through gorgeous paved trails through Crandon Park.
Natural Beauty: Participants enjoy awesome ocean views and lots of shade.
Scenic Running: It is one of the most scenic runs in the sport of triathlon!
Distance Structure: Sprint does 1 lap, International 2 laps, and Olympic 3 laps.
π Club Competition
Clubs Compete: Clubs will be competing to see which club will take home the Championship Crown.
Scoring Points: Points are earned based on # of club members racing and how far the club traveled.
Performance Impact: Points are also based on how well the top club members performed in their respective age groups.
