• Cancellation Notice: The swim is cancelled due to renovations at the Florida Pool.
• Race Introduction: We are excited to host an excellent Duathlon while returning with the Triathlon in 2026!

🏅 Race Distances

• 5K: Just a straightforward 5K run.
• Sprint Duathlon: Includes a 3.1 mile run, a 10.2 mile bike ride, and a final 3.1 mile run.
• Super Sprint Duathlon: Comprises a 1.1 mile run, a 3.4 mile bike ride, and a final 1.1 mile run.
• Community Support: Participation helps fund the University of Florida TriGators Triathlon Club.

👥 Alumni Participation

• Welcome Back: TriGators Alumni can join the Duathlon on their old stomping grounds!
• Discount Codes: Contact us via trigatorstri@gmail.com for discount codes.
• Eligibility: Discount available for former members of the TriGators Triathlon Club with proof of involvement.
• Meetup Zone: An alumni meetup zone will be available with food at the event.

💰 Refund and Transfer Policy

• No Refunds: All entry fees are considered donations to the UF TriGators Triathlon Race.
• Entry Fee Reliance: Fees are crucial for team promotion and functioning.
• Event Cancellation: If cancelled, athletes will receive either a refund or a deferral to the next race.
• Participant Incentives: Registered participants before February 21st will receive an event race shirt and finishers will earn a medal.

🎖️ Awards and Recognition

• Finisher Medals: Unique medals for all finishers of the Duathlon and 5K.
• Age Group Awards: Awards will be given in 5-year age categories from 9 and under to 75+.
