Ruidoso Runfest

🎉 Event Overview:

Join us for the inaugural Ruidoso Runfest where the weekend will include running, local bands, food trucks and Downshift Brewing Company beer garden. This will be a family friendly weekend hosted by the Village of Ruidoso Parks &: Recreation dept.

• Kick-off Event: Friday night kicks off the weekend with the Ruidoso RunFest 5K and Kids 1K fun run.
• Awards Ceremony: Finish line at Wingfield Park will host the awards for 5K along with music, post race food, and beer garden.
• Saturday Events: Includes the 6th running of the Ruidoso Marathon and Half Marathon.
• State-Forty-Seven: In its 2nd year, the 47K/50K presented by Bluebird Running.

📅 Dates and Times:

• Packet Pick Up: For All Events at Wingfield Park, Friday, July 18th from 2 pm to 6 pm & Saturday, July 19th from 5 am to 6:45 am.

5K and Kids 1K Run

• Date: Friday, July 18, 2025
• 5K Start: 6 pm
• Kids Mini Bun Run: 6:45 pm

47K/50K, Marathon and Half Marathon

• Date: Saturday, July 19, 2025
• 47K / 50K Start: 6 am
• Marathon Start: 7 am
• Half Marathon Start: 7:30 am
• Course Closure: 2 pm on Saturday

💻 Virtual Participation:

VIRTUAL OPTIONS AVAILABLE FOR THE MARATHON, HALF MARATHON AND 5K.

How Does a Virtual Event Work?
First, register then print out your personalized bib number, pick up your t-shirt, then run, walk or roll your distance! A Virtual run, walk or roll can be completed anywhere, just be safe. You can complete your distance anytime between 8 am JULY 18 TO AUGUST 31. After you have completed your distance upload your results by clicking on the Results tab at the top of the registration page, then click on the Submit Virtual Results and follow the prompts.

• 5K: $24 now until March 31, $29 April 1 - May 15, $34 May 16 - June 30, $40 July 1 - July 17.
• Kids Run: $10 now until March 31, $12 April 1 - May 15, $14 May 16 - June 30, $20 July 1 - July 17.
• Half Marathon: Starting at $65 until March 31 to $90 during packet pick-up.
• Full Marathon: Starting at $75 until March 31 to $105 during packet pick-up.

🏆 Awards:

All Race participants will receive a commemorative medal and custom shirt.

• 5K: Top 3 overall Male &: Female winners will receive Special Addition #RUIDOSOSTRONG Bear.
• Half Marathon: Top 3 overall Male &: Female winners will receive Special Addition #RUIDOSOSTRONG Bear.
• Marathon: Top 3 overall Male &: Female winners will receive Special Addition #RUIDOSOSTRONG Bear.
• 47K: Top 3 overall Male &: Female winners will receive Special Addition #RUIDOSOSTRONG Bear.

📍 Location:

START / FINISH FOR ALL EVENTS AT WINGFIELD PARK. The 47K/50K race will start 1 hour before the marathon begins with a 2 pm cutoff time. Headlamps are strongly suggested. The 47K/50K will be limited to the first 50 registrants.
