Alton Old Home Week 5K Road Race

🏃‍♂️ RACE DAY

• Date: Saturday, August 9, 2025 – rain or shine.
• Check-in: 7:30-8:30AM – Pre-registered racer check-in, shirt pick-up, and same-day race registration (cash or check accepted).
• Start Time: 9:00AM – Race begins!
• Post-race: Refreshments, awards and raffles for all paid participants.

🌄 SCENIC START/FINISH

• Location: The race will start and end in the parking lot adjacent to the Alton Bay Bandstand overlooking beautiful Lake Winnipesaukee.
• GPS Address: 58 Mount Major Highway (Rte 11), Alton Bay, NH 03810.

👕 SHIRTS

• Type: A unisex long-sleeve cotton shirt will be available to all paid participants who have registered by July 14.
• Alternative: A unisex long-sleeve polyester tech shirt can be chosen (instead of the cotton shirt) for an additional $5 to all paid participants who have registered by July 14 (no youth sizes available).

📏 COURSE INFORMATION

• Timing: ChronoTrack computerized chip timing provided by Granite State Race Services.
• Certification: USATF-certified course through Alton.
• Course Layout: Scenic, slightly varying paved course – flat/downhill with one moderate incline.
• Water Stations: Every mile is marked, with water provided at the 1.5-mile mark and finish area.

🏅 AGE DIVISIONS FOR AWARDS

• Categories: 9 & under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39
• 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 & over

🎁 PRIZES

• Overall: Overall male/female runner.
• Top Performers: Top male/female runner in each age division.
• Local Runners: First Alton male/female runner.
• Teams: Running club & family/fun teams.

• On-street: On-street parking along Route 11.
• Town Beach: At the Town Beach on Route 28A.
• Overflow: Overflow parking at Jones Field on Letter S Rd.
