Mirror Lake 5k

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

The Mirror Lake 5k is an event for runners of all types that immerses participants in the beauty and dynamic spirit of Mirror Lake and Downtown St. Petersburg, FL. This year, proceeds (and donations) from the event will benefit Building Beds, a local non-profit that provides free beds and bedding to kids in need in St. Pete. To date, this organization has delivered over 4,000 beds to families right here in our community.

📅 Date and Time

• Date: February 15th, 2025
• Time: Checkin opens at 7am and the first wave of the race begins at 8am.

Location: Checkin at the Downtown St. Pete Campus of BridgePoint Church located at 737 3rd Ave. North, St. Petersburg, FL 33701

🏁 Course

This year we've closed down Mirror Lake Drive so you have more room to run and get after that new PR as you complete your 5 laps of fun!

⏰ Waves

Because this race is 5 laps around Mirror Lake, each wave will begin and finish before the next wave begins. Participants will be assigned a wave based on their anticipated finish time (reported during registration). Medals will be awarded to the top male and female runner in each wave. Please take a look at the wave times listed below and do not register for a wave that will not allow you to finish in the time allotted:

• Wave 1: 30:00 and under (8:00am)
• Wave 2: 30:01-35:00 (8:35am)
• Wave 3: 35:01-43:00 (9:15am)
• Wave 4: 43:01-1:00:00 (10:00am)

🚗 Parking

Parking: Parking in St. Pete is tough, so we recommend showing up early and parking in one of the following city lots located along Mirror Lake:

1. The St. Pete Shuffleboard Club City Lot (559 Mirror Lake Dr N, St. Petersburg, FL 33701)
2. The Tomlinson Center (right off 3rd Ave) - 296 Mirror Lake Dr N, St. Petersburg, FL 33701
3. The city parking lot across from the current County Court House - 600-698 Mirror Lake Dr N, St. Petersburg, FL 33701
