• Start and Finish: At Spirits
• Course: Beautiful Historic Garden District
• Packet Pickup:
  • Friday: 12 Noon until 6pm at Run Wild
  • Saturday: 12 noon to 1:45pm at Spirits
• Race Start Times:
  • 1 Mile: 2pm
  • 5K: 2:15pm
  • Beer Mile: 3pm

🍺 What is a Beer Mile?

• Concept: A beer every quarter mile for 1 mile.
• Start: Begins at Spirits, finishing with a sprint after four beers.
• Discount: Sign up for both races at a discounted rate.
• Challenge: Sounds easy? Not quite.

📜 Beer Mile Rules

• Consumption: Each competitor drinks four beers and runs four quarter laps.
• Transition Area: Beer must be consumed before the lap, within a 10 meter zone.
• Distance: The race starts with the first beer in the last meter to ensure a complete mile.
• Women Competitors: Women drink four beers in four laps, as per updated rules.
• Alcohol Content: Beer must be a minimum of 5% alcohol, provided by Huckleberry Brewery.
• Opening Beers: Cans must not be opened until entering the transition zone.
• Penalties: Competitors who vomit must complete a penalty lap at the end.
