🌟 Event Overview
Please join us for the 5th Annual Genoa Middle School Glow Run/Walk on Friday, March 14, 2025. Run or walk with us to benefit the Genoa Middle School PTSA!
🕔 Schedule of Events
- Kids Run: The kids run (one lap around the track) will start at 5:45 PM.
- 1-Mile Run/Walk: The 1-Mile Run/Walk will start at 6:00 PM.
- 5K Run/Walk: The 5K Run/Walk will start at 6:30 PM.
- Location: All races will begin and end on the track at the back of Genoa Middle School (5948 S Old 3C Rd, Westerville, OH 43082).
🏁 Course Details
Please view the 5K route map below. It is an out-and-back course that begins on the track at Genoa Middle School, goes past Fouse Elementary, to the Genoa/Ohio-to-Erie trail, and then back to the glowing finish line where upbeat music will be playing! The 1-mile course is the first 1/2 mile of the 5K course and back to finish on the track. The courses stay off main roads for safety purposes.
✨ Important Information
- Chip Timing: The 5K run/walk will be chip-timed and the 1-Mile run/walk is only for fun and NOT chip-timed.
- Glow Items: For safety purposes, at least one glow item must be worn by all participants and strollers must glow on the front.
- Costume Encouragement: We also highly encourage you to dress as "bright" as possible or in clothing and makeup that will reflect black light to make it more FUN!
