The Tyrone Race Series presents The Gold Rush Race!

The Gold Rush Race will be a 5k, 10k & Kids Sprint Event that will take place over Tyrone's Annual Tyrone Irish Heritage Celebration on March 15th, 2025!

💖 Beneficiary Information

Proceeds from this year's Gold Rush Race Event benefactor is Purrfect Paws and Pals of Tyrone. Purrfect Paws and Pals is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that consists of Tyrone community members who all have a deep love for cats, and a deep concern for the strays in our town and surrounding areas. Purrfect Paws and Pals are committed to helping as much as possible, and to that end we will be accepting donations to offset veterinary expenses, supplies for the cats, offers to foster cats, and of course, good homes for as many cats as we can.

📍 Event Details

The start and finish line will be in front of Tyrone Armory.

⏰ Timeline of Events

• 6:30 AM: Check in and day of registration will take place at Tyrone Armory (Address: 956 S. Logan Ave Tyrone, PA 16686).
• 8:00 AM: 5K Run/Walk & 10K Run starts (Cutoff times for 10Ks is an hour and a half).
• 9:30 AM: Kids Sprint (50-100 Meter Dash).
• 10:00 AM: Awards and Closing Ceremony.

📝 Registration Information

Early Registration: Registrations may be mailed in or you may register on runsignup.com. Register by February 28th to be guaranteed long sleeve shirt.

Day of Race Registration: Race registration for the day of is only available from 6:30 AM to 7:30 AM.

Gold Rush 5K/10K Adults (18+):

• Early Registration: $30
• Day of Registration: $35

Gold Rush 5K/10K High School Students (18 years & younger):

• Early Registration: $15
• Day of Registration: $20

Gold Rush Kids Sprint Children 9 & Under:

• Early Registration with long sleeve shirt: $15
• Early Registration with no shirt: FREE
• Day of Registration: Free (No shirt)

📦 Registration Includes

Registration includes a long sleeve shirt and race goodie bag: Youth S-L & Adult S - 2XL. Paper Registrations can be requested by emailing runtrs1857@gmail.com. Paper Registrations can be mailed to Tyrone Race Series at PO Box 95 Tyrone, PA 16686. Checks made payable to Tyrone Race Series.

⚠️ Cancellation and Weather Policy

Cancellation Disclaimer: In the event of a cancellation of Gold Rush Race, all proceeds will be given to benefactor.

Inclement Weather: We will be monitoring the forecast, and in the event of inclement weather, the race will be postponed to a later date provided by the Gold Rush committee. Any updates will be posted on the race website and on the Facebook event.
