- Scenic Route: The course winds through the fall foliage of Cherokee Park
- Walker Participation: Walkers must maintain an 18:00 minute per mile pace and the course closes at 12 p.m.

- New Race: Introducing the Urban Bourbon 5K, a shorter and smoother version of the Half Marathon
