The Lake Area Turkey Trot 5K is a family tradition held on Thanksgiving morning at Camdenton High School. 2025 will be the 16th year for this event. It's attended by many families who want to kick their holiday off with some exercise, friendly competition and camaraderie.

Because this is a family event, we want to make it as reasonable as possible. Register 4 or more people and save $15. You must register all 4 at the same time for the discount to be automatically applied.
🏆 Awards
- Fun Run: No awards: children completing the event will receive a finishers medal.
- 5K Awards: Overall Male & Female winners receive a plaque and a cash prize.
- Age Group Awards: Given in categories: 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and up.
- Medals: Offered for boys and girls in age groups: 10 & under, 11-14.
