Join the excitement of a Riverwalk Run Series event—America’s only 2-state 5K series!—which includes the Trout Trot 5K every Spring, Walk the Line 5K every Summer, the Bigfoot Boogie 5K every Fall, and a CHALLENGE MEDAL to finishers who complete all three.

🌄 Scenic Course

Distance: 3.1 miles through 2 states.
Route: Charming downtowns of McCaysville, GA and Copperhill, TN.
Backdrop: Beautiful Toccoa River and fall leaves.
Participants: Walkers, strollers, amblers, and even four-legged friends are all welcome.

Shirt & Bib Pickup: Friday (4:00-6:00 PM) at Burra Burra Riverside Dining and Saturday (3:30-6:15 PM) at the McCaysville Visitor Center
Weekend Getaway: Explore the stunning NorthWest Georgia region, surrounded by mountains and rivers.

Organizer: The Riverwalk Run Series is organized by the McCaysville Business Association, a non-profit dedicated to fostering economic, cultural, and social growth.
Activities: Besides the 5K, our region offers rafting, craft beer breweries, hiking, fly fishing, and live music.
Parking: Free and conveniently located near the finish line at McCaysville’s City Park.
Activities: Downtown shopping, riverside dining at Riverwalk Shops, and live music performances at TOONEYS on Friday and Saturday nights.

Parking: Free parking available across from the McCaysville City Park
Race Day Registration: Available, unless event sells out.
Water Bottles: Handed out at finish line: please bring your own hydration.
Rain or Shine: Event will proceed.

🏆 Awards

Awards Ceremony: at Finish Line: all Finishers receive a medal.
Overall Winners: Female & Male.
Age Group Winners: 0-9, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+.
Timing: Start & finish lines are at different places: race time is based on “gun to chip” (USATF Rule 245).
