Mountain Strong-8 Hour Ultra

🏞️ Race Overview

• Event Date: 2025-09-27
• Location: 416 Ledger School Road, Bakersville, NC
• Description: This is a race that will run on the anniversary of Hurricane Helene, a storm that ravaged Bakersville leaving hundreds of thousands of trees down on mountainsides and in roads.
• Purpose: All of the profit will be going to the Mitchell County Parks and Recreation Department to help rebuild the parks and the playgrounds.

🥤 Aid and Support

• Access to Aid: Runners will have access to food and aid every time they pass the start line.
• Crew Stations: Set up a crew station in the parking lot and bring your favorite foods and hydration for the race.
• Spectators: Spectators are welcome.

🎁 Race Swag

• Tshirt: There will be a long sleeved cotton tshirt for all runners.
• Medal: Participants will receive a medal.
• Inclusivity: Even if you only walk for an hour, or you run the entire 8 hours, you'll be given your race swag.
• Swag Quality: Race Swag is going to be epic.
