🏃♀️ Event Overview
The Delta Upsilon Chapter of Kappa Kappa Gamma will be hosting its 4th Annual 5K for Kappie! This event is being held in honor of our late sorority sister, Catherine Williams, who passed away on June 2nd, 2020 after a courageous 13-month battle with osteosarcoma. Catherine Williams was 18 years old, and a recent graduate of North Atlanta High School. She was admitted to and excited to attend the University of Georgia in the fall of 2020. In the week before her death, Catherine accepted an early bid and was initiated into the Delta Upsilon Chapter of Kappa Kappa Gamma as a double legacy.
💖 Purpose of the Event
- Proceeds: All proceeds from this event will go to CURE Childhood Cancer.
- Mission: CURE Childhood Cancer is a non-profit organization dedicated to conquering childhood cancer through funding targeted research.
- Support: They provide support to patients and their families devastated by a childhood cancer diagnosis.
